Apartment was very roomy and well maintained with all the regular appliances accessible. There is a balcony overlooking the street, great for morning coffee or nightcap. The area has all the necessities with a convenient store, local bar, and markets all within 5 minute walking distance. Most of the historic sites are within 30 minute walk or 10-15 cab ride. I would highly recommend the apartment 👍👍Posted on Google Tracy CegielskiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great stay at Atelier Dionysiou. The flat has plenty of room for a large family or group. It has all the comforts of home, full kitchen, dining room, multiple bathrooms, air conditioning in every room & even a clothes washer! My favorite was the balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee every day. It is in a neighborhood away from the crowds but yet a quick 15 min taxi ride or longer walk or nearby metro takes you right to the sights. Don’t miss the nearby farmers market on Saturdays & the yummy food choices & shopping around the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st but hopefully not last visit to Athens.Posted on Google Matthew LemmaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great flat. Newly refinished and very comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was extremely convenient to bars, restaurants and stores. The kitchen and dining room were very spacious and had everything we needed to cook and eat there as a family. The living room was large and comfortable with a large TV and all the streaming apps. The bathrooms were comfortable and mine had a towel warmers! I think my favorite part was the walk out balcony. Fun for an AM coffee and just to check the neighborhood goings ons out.Posted on Google Stacey LemmaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A Perfect Athens Home Base — We Didn’t Want to Leave From the moment we arrived, this flat exceeded every expectation. Four bedrooms and three baths gave our group all the space we needed to spread out and truly relax — no one was ever on top of each other, and the common areas never felt crowded. The apartment is immaculately clean and decorated with such a thoughtful, curated touch that it felt more like a luxury apartment than a rental. Sleep was absolutely restorative. The window coverings blocked out every trace of light, the beds were super comfortable, and somehow the street noise that defines so many city stays was completely absent. Being able to adjust the temperature in each room was an added bonus, so we didn’t all have to agree on one number. We woke up rested every single morning, which made a huge difference on a sightseeing-heavy trip. Speaking of mornings — coffee on the balcony became our favorite daily ritual. It was the perfect way to ease into the day before heading out to explore. And while we ended up eating out most nights (Athens has incredible food), the kitchen is gorgeous and fully equipped. We could easily have cooked complete meals there without missing a thing. The Neapolis/Exarchia neighborhood stole our hearts. Eight minutes on foot brought us to a stunning Saturday farmers market — the produce piled high in every direction was unlike anything we’d ever seen. We also walked directly to Plaka and several other major sights, which felt effortless thanks to the wonderful weather and how safe we felt throughout the entire neighborhood. Communication with the hosts was flawless — clear, simple instructions and a warmth that made us feel like genuine guests rather than a transaction. That tone carried through the entire stay.Posted on Google susan genovaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Atelier Dionysiou is a hidden luxury gem in Athens. We absolutely loved the neighborhood, which offered a great mix of atmosphere, convenience, and fantastic dining options. The property itself feels refined and high quality, with thoughtful details that make the stay stand out. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable and added to the overall sense of luxury. This is a special place for anyone looking for comfort, style, and a more elevated Athens experience.Posted on Google Irene LaraTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Atelier Dionysiou was one of the highlights of our time in Athens. The apartment is full of character, beautifully restored, and finished to a very high standard. It combines style and practicality unusually well — generous bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a stunning kitchen, and inviting balconies that made it easy to relax after a day in the city. The location gave us a more authentic Athens experience, with great food, local energy, and easy access to everything we wanted to see. We would absolutely stay again.Posted on Google Dan SchausTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Clean, updated, and in a very accessible part of town. My family fell in love with Exarchia !Posted on Google Paul MerulloTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Atelier Dionysiou is an absolute standout in Athens. From the moment you arrive, it feels refined, calm, and truly luxurious—elegant without being stuffy. The atmosphere is sophisticated and intimate, the kind of place where every detail feels intentional and elevated. The location is one of its biggest strengths. You’re close enough to the Acropolis to feel the history and magic of Athens, but far enough away to avoid the overwhelming tourist crowds. Instead of chaos, you get a relaxed, upscale neighborhood vibe. It’s also perfectly situated near excellent restaurants and cafés, making it ideal for long, unhurried evenings. For American travelers looking for a high-end experience that feels authentic and local—not touristy—Atelier Dionysiou delivers. It’s polished, peaceful, and beautifully removed from the souvenir-shop frenzy. A true hidden luxury in Athens, and a place I would absolutely return to.
